Our 2015 SDV6 Diesel Sport has just had its 75,000 service on time.

I am advised by the dealer that the throttle body needs to be replaced and also that the pinion bearing on the rear differential also needs to be replaced.

The car does mainly highway work at highway speeds (average 100 kph).

These two items amount to over $4,000 AUD and my initial reaction is that I should have bought one of those much cheaper vehicles which have 5 or 7 years warranties. These sorts of early failures are not acceptable in a vehicle which costs as much as a the Range Rover does.

Comments anyone?

Surely your 2015 is still under warranty and will cover these costs??
