Hi
I finally changed my transmission.
There are two issues i want to ask since i dont drive other trucks to compare.
One is about torque's operation. It raises the revs at slightest gas under 2000 revs(mostly at 5th)it lowers then again raises;is it normal?
Other is gear change 3-4-5 are late sometimes, even i lessen the gas pressure gear hesitates to upshift.
Soft changes are great under mild accelaration.

Sounds like the transmission on my TD6, I didn't like the way it worked. Always felt as though the torque converter was slipping. Realistically the engine is underpowered for the weight and size of the vehicle, so need to increase the revs quite often!

I decided to get rid of the car and got a TDV8, this is a beautiful car, but a pain due to niggling electrical problems that the dealer cannot seem to tie down.

In general the TD6 was much more reliable over the 2 years I had it though.

Regards,
Steve

Sorry for V8.
Yes underpowered car thing is it seems to me that it does let lock out very quickly-can't decide if faulty since i did not drive another one.
