My friend has a 2011 RR HSE w/98900 miles which is now out of warranty. He is willing to sell it to me for $17,500.
It is a 1 owner vehicle w/no major prior problems and all the work/service was at the dealership.

Are there any 3rd party extended warranties for RR > 100k miles. I imagine they are pretty expensive.

For the price it seems like a reasonable deal. I just don't want to buy it then have to drop 5-10k into it.

Any advice?

you might want to see if u can review the service records with the dealer. see what issues it has had, what is needed and recommended. ask them possible future expenses. My friends with 25K mi has recently had the chains, guides, and sprockets changed (under his extended $6k warranty) would have cost about $5K.

i think you can drop $5K or $10K on one of these cars pretty fast

I'm sure others with more experience will also chime in
