What year vehicle? Mine is 2006 FF, upgraded the BT module to 2010, shows address book, carrier, and never fails to connect. Discovery 3/4 BT module works in my Range Rover.

See this post http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic53302.html?highlight=bluetooth - wiggs has it sorted, go to the end of the discussion, or PM Wiggs and he'll help you out. You can get a D3 BT module with updated software but if you want the addy book sync and all the bells you need the D4 module.

D3 module holds 300 contacts... D4 holds 1000
D4 shows multiple numbers for names
D4 shows signal strength and service provider

D3 I think is £70 exchange, D4 I think is £240 exchange - confirm with Wiggs

PDF on the swap (dead simple) http://www.pioneernavdisks.co.uk/bluetooth/bt swap.pdf
