I have a 2009 Range Rover L322 4.4V8 HSE with 164,000 km on the clock. Was driving around the city yesterday, with regular stops and covered around 150km (it's a big city!!). Outside temp was +45 deg C. After around 3h45m, the car stuttered to a halt and it felt like it had run out of fuel, however tank was about 1/2 full. Car wouldn't start. After a few mins wait, car started again, and ran for another 10 mins, then spluttered again. It did this a couple of times. When it was moving, engine felt restricted and struggled above 80 kph. Stopped for 20 min to allow it to cool, it then ran perfectly for the 20 min drive home. Normally, the car runs very smoothly, however, this has happened before, normally when my wife is out in it! It only manifests after more than 3 hours stop/start driving.

I would appreciate any guidance or clues on what could be wrong. Thanks!
