Hello,
I just bought a second Range Rover Supercharged 2011 and noticed that passenger door pocket were not illuminated by fiber optic lighting from the armrest above like the front seat door pockets are. I did notice that the rear seats had the same pin hole light hole in the rear arm rest same as the front door armrest. Are these passenger door armrest suppose to supply ambient light to the rear door pockets? I do have light to the rear door handle and interior door pull pocket that work. I am wondering because both sides are not working.

If I understand correctly I have the same issue. In my 12' SC both of my front door handle pockets are out and the back still are lit. I addressed this with my service advisor at the dealership and he stated that the replacement lights are $250 each so $500 total in my case to replace both front door handle pockets. Hope this helps.

Had not noticed. I had to look at mine on the way home today.

$250 each???? Is it just a light bulb, or what? Seems a little steep.

Which warranty company did you use?

I’ll have to look. It’s whatever the LR dealer signed me up for when I bought the vehicle.

Yeah just a light bulb I think... really I just mentioned it to him when I dropped it off for other warranty work and then when he called me and gave me the estimate and he even said if you really want it then we can do it otherwise, it does not seem worth it.

It is actually the lower pocket below the arm rest if ya look at front door the ambient light comes from a pin hole directly in the bottom of the armrest on the 2010-2012 models it is the very bottom pocket on the door. On my 2003 it is lit by a light inside the pocket itself but on the 2010-2012 it is down lighted at least in the front seats. The back arm rest has the same pin hole but didn’t know if the ran the fiber optic light to it.

my 2008 RR L322 had similar problems. had three total burnt out bulbs in the doors
the replacement bulbs come wired into and soldered in a harness in each door

i was able to buy one harness and by cutting out the bulbs was able to replace my burnt out ones
