DONE!!!!FOR NOW

Here is what I had done today:
1. Pioneer sub taken out of tailgate
2. Factory sub put back in tailgate with factory power and control
3. Pioneer sub put in pioneer box with JL power and a long cord so I can move it around the back to find the best spot.

Sounds great. It's a healthy amount of bass not a whole lot but just enough to know that you have another sub back there. It is nice because I can control the bass on the sub through the factory sub interface. I am pretty sure I am going to put it on the left side because it almost fits perfect over there. No rattles inside or out.

Here are some pics:

Congrats, glad you like it.
Are you sure your amp is turned up and everything set right? Cause
I would not describe mine like you do, mine absolutely SLAMS... you can
feel your hair and clothes shake!

hey ryanoz,

did you ever consider fabricating a box where the back pullout panel is? i've been considering relocating the amp from there and trying to find someone who could make a box that would sit flush with the rest of the bed. i haven't measured the depth but i thought i could save myself the hassle of trying to make it work if you had already considered it?!

Mason-
Yea I looked at doing that back at the beginning, its not deep enough.

After all the work I did building my enclosure, I've decided to just use
the pioneer box. It matches and look nice, sounds fantastic, and is easily
removable. Saves me a lot of extra work. I'm very happy with it.

Any advice on how to get the amp wire (4ga) through the firewall and back to the rear?

Thanks,
Jason
