Been a few years since I had a Land Rover vehicle, just picked up a well loved 2001 P38 SE 4.6 130K. This P38 has been converted to coils, but came with all the parts for air. The Gentlemen I purchased it from did a ton of work on this thing for which I am grateful.
This will be my 4th Land Rover Product.

1. 2002 Discovery II SE 4.0 Silver
2. 2000 Range Rover HSE 4.6 Dark Blue
3. 2011 Range Rover HSE 5.0 White
4. 2001 Range Rover SE 4.6 Green

Took the fam out for the first road trip, I must say I really love the ergonomics of these vehicles.

+1 on Kent Green.......I had found a nice one, but wife does not like the colour......So I found the Borrego, and did not give her a vote! HA!
You are basically where I am on the coils. I really want EAS back.
My White 02 has EAS, and Borrego is on springs, so a comparison is dead easy. The EAS flat out rides more comfortably and handles better.
Since it is drive able now, take the time to re build and test the compressor, valve body, etc, then get 4 new Dunlops (Or bag of your choice) and let her rip! With luck, the only issue was a leaking bag, and it will come back to life easily.
Cheers!
