My first post - I have a 2004 petrol V8 that has been very reliable (!) with only a new radiator and header tank in my 5 years of ownership.

I haven't seen this as a post yet - does anyone know how to stop the loud warning chime you get if you open the driver's door while the key is in the ignition (for (say) leaving the radio on while going to the boot)? I can't imagine what problem they were trying to avoid when they did this!

Easy, close the door. The chime is to keep you from forgetting your keys. Is it really that important to have the radio on when you go to the boot?

Easily done with IIDtool. RSW Allcomms should be able to fix it aswell ?

I´ve disabled a bunch of other chimes and warnings aswell.. they just annoy me.

Shogo - Can you specifically disable the 37° chime? RSW didn't specify. I would really like to disable this one.
