Hi everyone,

I'm looking for instructions on how to replace the turn signal arm/switch on a left hand drive L322. I've seen some threads on this but they are all old and the videos don't work anymore. Some say you have to remove the steering wheel(per the instruction manual), others say this is unnecessary. Please share if you can talk me through how this is done.

Thx!

Rob

If you don't have Rave already, download it.

Check page 460. It gives an idea of how to get the stalk assemblies out. Basically you remove the airbag assembly (also in RAVE), take the steering wheel and rotary coupler off and then, i believe you can unscrew and slide out the assemblies. There might be a quicker way but that's the best I can think of.

Thank you! Now...the part that's broken appears to be whatever switch turns off the turn signal when you're done turning the wheel. I'm wondering if I can get away with just replacing that turn signal/brights switch arm assembly or if I have to replace the entire assembling that holds all of the steering wheel controls on both sides of the column. Thoughts?

IE, replacing just this...https://www.ebay.com/itm/Range-Rove...irated&hash=item1a5b3c10cf:g:aCQAAOSwB09YJKVk

Or do I have to replace the entire assembly...https://www.ebay.com/itm/LAND-ROVER...398520&hash=item2a95d6f01d:g:ZRgAAOSw8d9UuVqY

You should only need to replace the switch pack itself (not the entire assembly).

I just did mine yesterday. If you haven't did yours yet you need to remove the steering wheel and only have to replace the blinker switch itself. They have youtube videos on how to remove the steering wheel.
