I cant imagine this is overly difficult but I can not seem to remove the sensor that connects the ECU to the MAF on a 2004 RR HSE. I am getting code p1174 which reading to forum seems to be linked to the MAF or breather tubes and trying the cheapest route first to clean the MAF. Any help on how to remove the multi plug sensor would be much appreciated

Assuming you have a petrol model it's a pretty quick & simple job to pop off the acoustic cover and check if your crankcase ventilation hoses have split & turned into marshmallows.

I removed the cover and checked the breather tubes which seem to be fine which makes me think its the MAF. The problem I am having now is when trying to remove the MAF to clean it I can not get the sensor off that runs to the ECU. Is there any trick to getting the sensor to release from the meter or does it just pop out with enough of a pull?
