I had ordered from AB a Lucas distributor cap and receveid a black unit with no markings at all. Is this correct? Shouldn´t be a "Lucas" stamped somewhere?

usually they have lucas stamped on them, I'd say you have a generic brand.

Also they're blue and are heavier in weight, not sure about markings.

Mmmm never seen blue lucas caps here. I have a black lucas with lucas stamped on in front of me know. Plain black with no markings can be bosch. I have seen the blue caps, maybe they are champion???

I checked the caps out in my garage and they are all black and have either LUCAS written on the or have the raised lion and torch Lucas logo.

Guys,

It's me again with this distributor cap....

After all the replies you gave me, I was positive that the Lucas cap should have the Lucas name or logo on it.

So I've asked Atlantic British to me a Lucas cap then. When I received the new cap, it came in a Lucas box but as the first, it had no markings again!!!!
I sent pictures of the cap over to AB and they've insisted it was a Lucas cap...

I've attached these same pictures on this post and I once again ask your help to identify this cap... Thanks!
