I'm an owner of RR ATB 2017, with rear seat entertainment / screens built into the front headrests.
By default, rear seats screens are ON, even when I'm alone in the vehicle. Quite stupid.

Therefore I'd like to disable them by default, and enable them (turn them on) only when I have passengers at the back.

Any help?

Mine display the Land Rover logo when the car turns on, then turn off unless someone in back turns them on

I have a 2018 RR Supercharged with rear screens. Mine pop up when the car is turned on and do go off after like a minute of no interaction with them. However, at night time they are VERY blinding to rear seat passengers so I'd love for them not to come on at all unless powered on specifically. The owners manual doesn't say anything about this being an option not sure if anyone has figured out how to just have them off by default. FWIW, I didn't order this truck so it was on the lot with this option which I wouldn't not have gotten had I ordered.

For my 2013, I can turn them off by accessing 'rear media' from the touch screen, selecting the right and left screens and pressing the 'monitor' button.

I don't know if this has changed for the later models.

Unfortunatelly, my RR (1/2017) is quite stupid, and don't turn the screens off, even if there aren't any person on back seats.
I just checked again, and after 1 hour of driving, screens were still on (WTF???).

I checked all setup options (I believe) and didn't succeed to find any option to disable them by default.

Any idea?
