I read an interesting post on Landcruiser 80 series forum about how miles peoples trucks had done, the winner so far is a guy who has done about 400,000 miles in his!

Anyway

My L322 04 BMW 3.0D 79,000 miles :D
Landcruiser 80 series 4.2TD 180,000 miles :thumb:

How many miles has yours?

Phil

175,000 and still moving new tranny at 140,000 what gives 400,000 nice to know i wonder if thats was the td6 or bmw v8?
BMW engines are well known for their longevity if maintained correctly, as are ZF gearboxes as long as they have the occasional fluid change (every 80k according to ZF) I would hope to get to 250,000 before any major work is needed, but maybe that's just wishful thinking!

Right now setting at 187,000 and getting ready to log a 1500 mile weekend trip to San Diego, Palm Springs and San Francisco loop.

Still looking for a 2003 right tail light, or a 2006 left.

Happy Motoring in the New Year all.
