This should be simple, so maybe I'm just missing something. I did a search, which surprisingly yielded nothing. I need to change a headlight on my '93 and there isn't enough clearance to get the grille off due to the factory brush guard being in the way. Do I really have to remove the brush guard to remove the grille to remove the headlight??

If it's like mine, I gave the brush guard a good hard yank and it came forward enough to get the grille out. Re-fit and push back afterwards

- I may just have been lucky though

My brush guard doesn't budge, but it turns out I was able to get the lights out just by releasing the four tabs at the top and pulling the grille forward a couple inches. It created enough space that I could unscrew the lamps and remove them through their holes in the grille. Now I have H4s - woohoo!
