Have searched the forum but not brought anything to light. So, rear mudflaps on my 93 LWB How do I get them off? They dont appear to have any bolt heads Just four fastners. Can I pop them off? Or is total destruction called for?

Hi If as it sounds like there the factory fitted rear flaps, then they are held on by a capped one time fit rivit, there is two ways to remove the rivit i found when i replaced mine one was to carefully cut the rivit in half with a open ended hack saw between the mud shield and mudflap metal holding strip, or carefully take an angle grinder to the head of the rivit to a point where it will break off, either way it a" slowly slowly catchy monkey" or you can make a right mess of the mudshield or metal bracket which you need to re-use unless you have got new ones.Good Luck!!

Thanks Valveboy ..Yes it looks like I still have the factory fitted ones. Thanks for the advice. If it ever stops raining I will be out there with the angle grinder!
