I'd like to pickup a spanner that will fit proper over that nut... The adjustable wrench I used before just barely yields enough room to fit the tool to hold the pulley.

Thanks Phil, while waiting for a response I actually looked closer and discovered if you remove one fan clutch nut and rotate the fan so the missing nut is at the apex of the rotation it gives you much more room! So I did that and used my giant adjustable spanner which now fits with room to spare. The single hole tool I made has worked perfectly twice now :dance:

Any reason not to put anti seize on the threads the fan nut fits to? Be nice to add a bit of protection there.
