How are we all feeling about the '10 - '12 models these days?

There are a few threads about overall reliability in the differences between '09 and '10. But they are back in 2013. So here we are in 2015. My local dealership has a sexy 2012 SC that I'm thinking hard about acting on. I have to assume it can't be any worse to own than my '05. `) For as much as I love my '05, having that newer SC power plant is pretty tempting Of course so is the '14 SC that they have. I don't know if $30K is worth it to me.

So, any '12 owners out there want to share their thoughts?

Bought our '11 SC with 28,xxx on the clock back in October of 2014. Has around 34,xxx now. No problems so far whatsoever (knock on wood). The SC MOVES too for such a big car. Love the torquey feel too when you push it.

Bought a 2011 Full Size HSE in December. It had 31K on the clock, 6mos of factory warranty left and a Carmax warranty to 100K. The new 5.0L DI engine has some VERY respectable giddy-up for a big SUV. I like the look of the pre-2013 style RR but wanted the new engine so a 2010-2012 was the natural choice for me. It's going back to the dealer for a brake hose recall, faulty lumber bags on both front seats, leaking TC (or hydro-bushing mount - again) and a small oil cooler hose leak. It was in once already for a vibration issue which ended up being the transfer case hydro-bushing mount. Overall, very happy.
