I'm looking to get a hitch mounted swingaway rack for my MY08 RRS SC, but I'm getting conflicting info I'd appreciate help on.

What I'd like is a swingaway bike rack that can also convert to a ski rack. The Thule Revolver 964 (http://www.thule.com/en/US/Products/Bik ... olver.aspx) has a ski rack accessory (987XT - http://www.thule.com/en/US/Products/Snowsports/HitchSki/987XT Hitch Ski Carrier.aspx), as does the Yakima SwingDaddy. The LandRover #LR008387 doesn't mention anything about ski attachments; I thought the LR bike rack was made by Thule, implying I could probably use the Thule 987XT, but my local dealer sees to think it's made by Bauer.

So to reach clarity I've a few questions:

1) Is the LR actually made by Thule or is my dealer correct saying it's Bauer?
2) If made by Thule is it identical to the Revolver 964 (apart from branding)?
3) If it's not identical, can the Thule ski rack accessory 987XT still be used with it?
4) Will the Yakima and Thule racks fit OK on the RRS, or are there clearance issues?

Thanks for the help.

As far as I know the LR accessory is identical to the Thule. Hence I chose to purchase the Thule (=cheaper).

Good news - thanks for the confirmation.

Funnily enough, last I looked, the LR branded rack is cheaper... go figure!
