Hi Folks,
Just thought i'd introduce myself. I'm Q i live in North yorks Uk and thinking about buying a p38 4.6hse around the 1999 mark. I was first bitten by the rangerover bug when i used to drive the six wheeled version for the RAF Fire Service and always fancied one ever since. Every where i look their always seems to be somebody having trouble with these motors and to be honest its putting me off a bit. I'm sure that if i was to purchase one it would have a few problems but what happens if its major like the engine? I can manage the odd niggle or easy fix but dont want to fork out a fortune to keep it on the road.It will be used as a second car and wont travel a great deal of distance probably only about 5k per year. Is this really the motor for me? Please feel free to talk me into it or out of it if you think thats better!!

Once again hi!! Q

If you can turn a wrench, use the search function, or are willing to do both... you'll be fine.

Now quit procrastinating and go get one.
