Hi Everyone Parking Sensors 2012 SC L322

1896 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  paulo6
I've seen parking sensor topics but haven't quite found the answer to my issue. I have a 2012 L322 Supercharged. That all being said I just bought it used and realized none of the parking sensors work and the P button doesn't light up or anything. I checked the fuse, listened to the sensors and tried to read through the threads. My question I guess is, how do I know if its the control mod? Is there something else I should check? Or do I order new module? Thx for any advice!

If one of the front or rear parking sensors are bad or disconnected, the entire system fails to operate. It helpful to have a buddy go around and put their ear to each of the sensors. Should hear a clicking sound.

If you already did this correctly, and they all click and also checked all fuses, I would check the module behind the fuse box in the rear hatch. This is where the camera and parking sensors plug into a metal box, could have become lose. It is a pain to do. I found a video on youtube on how to do it before.
No power to P button L322

2012 L322 SC I have no power to the parking assist button. Could someone tell me how to trace the power for this specific button? I already checked fuses. Thank you
Re: No power to P button L322

Hi arukiddenme, I have been searching the fourm too as I have the exact same problem you had, my 2011 vouge parking sensors are dead including the P button, checked all fuses and none blown, did you ever find out what was wrong with your parking sensors? I have at my own risk just ordered a 2nd hand modual off e bay to try at my own risk, however, thought I would look on here to see if there maybe something else to try before plugging the modual in. I, like you am unable to listen for any clicking due to the system being dead, I had on diagnostics, but unable to communicate with the system & it shows a diagram on where to check for power, but I don't know where these power supplies are located in the car, so kinda going to pass that for now.

Here is a PDF of the wiring diagram and another PDF regarding the physical parking sensor hardware, their locations and function:

Module arrived way earlier than o expected. I swapped them just now. I now have wheel location graphics on Monitor, blind spot seem to be working but I haven’t tested that on road yet. Problem is I can’t get the sensors to beep and when I press the dash button it flashes a few times only. Before with old module nothing happened no light and no wheel position graphs. Getting somewhere but still no parking assist .. anyone ? Anyone?
