Well, im at my wits end here and I kinda want to cry. I am hoping that I am overlooking something and once again turning to the forum in a hope and a prayer.
For background here is a very abridged overview:
Truck: 2013 L320 johnson rods, skid plates, full exhaust..ill keep it brief, it's not heavily modified, but weekend warrior status id calls it. Sits up nice and has so go to it and wheels nicely, but im not Overlanding or rock crawling. Pic on left if off-road height other normal
So i have been busy as hell at work and took the plunge and schedule service with the dealer (ill leave them out for now as im trying to get them to own and fix this **** show) for a basis oil change, annual service, and the once over as well as change both pumpkins fluid and the t case as I beat on it a little this summer. A month goes by, I dont hear from them on the scheduled day for pick up, call repeatedly and finally get a reply mid day and they send a guy immediately to pick it up. Great. I call the service guy and ask, do you know when I will have it back, moreover do you know what your doing? (no one ever called to discuss) . Ok so I tell him what I want and that Id likes to talk to the mechanic after he goes over it as im sure all you do, as preventative maintenance is my mantra. Also I throw in an alignment.
Oh, very important fact, 0, I mean 0, dummy lights on when they picked it up, and i scanned it and had two mirror heat faults due to a short i did. nbd.
Spare you the drama.
They tell me they cant do the pumpkins, t case, or . alignment. Former due to the skid plates /(2 days later) and alignment because its lifted. Dont put me on the phone with the mechanic, mentions some suspension fault and I reply yeah it can happen, i have had to adjust it from time to time, chagre me 800 and send the truck back with a driver.....
here is how I got it back..
These are the faults from my idtool:
ABS-Brake Module
RLM-Suspension
Those plus::
ABS-Brake Module
PBM-Parking Brake
RLM-Suspension
The compressor is not turning on at all fyi...In my humble opinion, i think its possible that the compressor died while in their possession, (75 miles with lift) and thye just ignored it and drove the truck back which made all of this compounded and caused more damage, or somehow they screwed the computer/something happened to knock the suspension offline. The delivery guy barley put in park and i noticed the seconde i got behind the wheel and called....and was told that i was informed of a suspension fault and to call tripple a and have it towed back if i wanted them to fix my truck that they would get me an estimate timely. Unreal luck I have eh.
Thank you in advance for any and all help. At this point, im just sooo frustrat4ed and have tried everything gi could get off we/id tool limited knowledge. I got a truck sitting unusable and the dealer says not thier fault etc... I dont want to have to get into a battle with them so im hoping there is something stupid I missed that someone can point out or that I can at least get a little confidence in prognosis/ next steps and the proper fix from one of you gents.
