Help: replace Brake light switch & wire assembly 1996 4.6HSE

Where do I begin to replace my brake light switch & wire assembly on my 1996 HSE? Purchased the brake light switch and wire assembly kit. Where is the switch located? Special tools? Can't shift out of park. No brake lights either. Blows fuse 17.

Photos and directions are in RAVE. The "wire assembly" is just an adapter from your old plug to the new switch... self explainatory.

I had to pull out the duct too, but I found it was leaking air so I patched it up with some duct tape while in. There
