Hello...I have a 04 HSE, bought it from a private owner and recently have noticed (more than usual) that the truck has a squeeking sound, sounds like a old bed squeek...not just when going over a bump but just driving in general. I'm sure there are a number of things that can be wrong (I'm hoping just a shock/strut problem)...but my question is has anyone else had the problem and how severe was it...give it to me straight!

It can be anything from sway bar to joints so the easiest way to identify it is to go under the car with a can of WD-40, spray one joint at a time and see if this changes something so then you will know what to replace.

Also, apply silicone spray to the rubber fittings around the windows, doors, and gate.
