I am going to be making the EAS cable tonight,I have all the parts, but 2 questions
In the range rover.net repair instructions, there are two methods for making the cable, one uses 3 wires and the other uses 4, which did you use and does anyone know the reason for the different two methods, the only pin connection difference is the one with 4 wires has a wire going from pin 1 on the obd to pin 7 on the db9

Also, can anyone tell me the order of the pin #'s on the obd and the db9, looking at them from the face (wide parts on top). There should be some sort of diagram as part of the instructions, would be very helpful!
