The signs read that my o-rings are leaking. It's a 1999 HSE.

I'm new to this Range Rover business, but I'm ready for this job, thanks to the fantastic details/shortcuts on this forum. (I'm going through the glovebox)
My last remaining question before I give this a go:

1) How much coolant do I have to drain in order to avoid a complete mess; or, should I just drain it all and change the coolant while I'm at this?
Many thanks.

I have read some instructions of doing this job and they say remove some coolant but i did my o rings last week and i just clamped the two heater pipes and removed them from the heater, i did lose a small amount of coolant but not much.

you won't loose much. The trick is to blow out the heater core pipes after pulling the hoses.

So, when I put this all together with new 0-rings, do I just bleed the system to be certain no air is trapped?

Sounds like I don't need to go through the trouble of draining all of the coolant then...
