So after a bunch of searching I’m still a little confused on the function the my new to me 90 SWB RRC

Specifically I can only get the AC/ middle vents functioning.

It seems the mode selector slider (?) which chooses between frees, recycle, and AC isn’t functioning since no matter it’s position all I get is the blower forcing air through the middle vents.

I think the net step would you be to pull the control panel and see if the cable has come loose?

The switch at the bottom left controls heat and air fans
The switch above that controls the flap for inside or outside air
The heater fan and the air fans are separate systems

So does that mean the far left selector controls the blower for the heater?

It means the lower left switch
All the way to the left controls
The fans to the air
To the right
The heater fan which blows out of the defrost or the lower vents
The leaver above the switch
Up is for outside air down is for heat
The lower right switch is the three speeds control for the fans
The leaver ablove that is for defrost or foot heat
The slide leaver is for heat and air
All the way to the left it has a switch to start the compressor
If your heater fan isn’t comeing on
Might be the fan motor

That's what I'm thinking now, that the motor itself my be the issue not the selector.
I appreciate being pointed in the right direction!

Yes two
Motors
Air conditioner fans are located on the passenger side in the foot well
And it blows out of the dash vents
The heater fan is located inside the heater assembly
And it blows out the defrost or the foot wells

So continuing to work through my heater issue before I resort to digging into the heater core. Since the fan is controlled by the heater/ac motor resistor I thought I might replace that just to rule it out. Unfortunately what I've found is the wires to the old resistor under the passenger side grille have been cut. Taking out the dash, I can't find any connector that matches the resistor.
Atlantic British has instructions that show it as red. Is that consistent among years? The only connector I can find that's the right shape is black, but it only has two wires connected.
Would there have been a different retrofit in the past that might have eliminated the resistors?

I can’t temember the colors but her is a pick from my 91 that shows the two connectors
And there location
They both come from the same loom
If your red is cut
Maybe I could help you replace it

the heater fan resistor is better accessed from the cowling area, yes it can be done thru the fresh air vents but I have always removed the hood and cowl, much easier.
