I went for one of those £150 new wheels (exchange) from ebay as well - the one with the new silver 'spokes' - looks very nice and the soft leather feels very good on a cold day.
That's it, exactly the same, I thought I was just being over sensitive to the heat and moved my hand to start with! I wonder if this will be covered under a safety recall in the future. The seller was Powerful_uk_ltd - they also have a website. The wheels come up every couple of weeks, I just took a look and don't see any now, but when I was looking they hade a handful they listed every couple of weeks. Easy to install as well. I was worried about the silver as I am not a RR Chrome person, but this looks very very nice in the car as most of the silver is covered by the wheel controls - matches the surrounds on the air vents well.
