Heads up to all who own 2008 Range Rover HSE or are considering to buy Range Rovers….

I want to share my story regarding a serious slow fuel line leak in the vintage 2008 Range Rover that I bought. The vehicle was very meticulously maintained. However I was shocked to find that the fuel rail developed a slowly dripping fuel leak that is impossible to detect while driving in the vehicle. I happened to notice it by chance as I was standing in front of my house watching my wife back the vehicle out of our steep drive way. Needless to say this leak could have easily potentially caused a fire / explosion that could have seriously injured me or my family.

Having been a moderator here, as well as owning and wrenching on Rovers for a long time now, I can assure you that this complaint is not the norm.
I edited your long and drawn out post to make it more readable.
We aren't here to bash the brand, but to help owners to carry out their own repairs basically.
I'm sure the new part will be trouble free, as like I said this is far from a regular fault.
By all means sell it and move on though.
