I want to get 22" rims for my RRS '14.

A few questions:

Am I required to buy them through the dealer in order to keep my warranty valid? Looks like the only option is Marcelino or Redbourne.

IF NOT, can I get them through an authorized retailer of marcelino?

I was at the dealership and I could swear I overheard a lady being told that her warranty was void because she had aftermarket rims.

No, aftermarket rims shouldn't void the car warranty. In order to void the warranty the dealer would have to show that the aftermarket rims or any aftermarket product for that matter caused the particular problem for which the warranty claim was being made.

I am also curious about this. The wheels I want are the 21-inch 9-Spoke Forged Alloy Wheel (Rim only) Gloss Black Finish — VPLWW0085. They are OEM but I am worried that by the time I pay a premium at the dealer they will cost me upwards of $6k installed.

Buying wheels from a dealer is a ridiculous idea.
It will have no effect on your warranty.
