how's it going guys. so two days ago i was in my garage looking over and around my car to come across a scratch that the car did to its self . yes it sounds weird but has anyone notice this on their car? seems like a common problem as i went to look at other range rover models like the one i have and they all have the same flaw. basically the plastic air vent trim that sits on the hood right by the windshield scratched my car on both sides due to it having sharp corners. this really upset me but it is what it is. touched it up with paint and trying to get over it.. i did a decent touch up but still irritates the hell outa me haha. ps the plastic piece was not loose or anything. i took the clips out to get easy access for touch up.

man this is terrible. my scrape was completely outside the panel. i thought it was a rock chip until i checked the other side of the panel :/ its gonna happen again so i need to pop it off and place some 3m double sided tape to hold it down tighter. hopefully that will help

get some 3M paint protection film and cut a small piece and stick it to the hood,
the plastic piece will not be able to damage the surface from then on.
