I received an email from Land Rover that said in the next few weeks they will be enabling the OTA and I didn’t have to go to the dealer to enable. Just turn on in the settings. Did anyone else get this email and has anyone received the update yet?

I'm running
19A2 – 2019-04-18 – S19A_19.11.4-330884

And these have been released since but software update shows I'm up to date?

19A3 – 2019-06-17 – S19A_19.20.4-363281
19A4 – 2019-07-11 – S19A_19.24.2-375121

I haven’t gotten an email, but twice my car has asked if I want to install an update. I click yes and nothing happens. When I tell it to check for an update, it says it’s up to date.

I got an OTA update notification today in my 2019 L494 ATB. It happened while I was driving - the pop-up said the update was 7MB. I clicked "Update Now" and it downloaded a file (little download icon in the top right corner of the upper screen). The software update screen in the car shows this:

Looks like you got the one I have already... let me know if you get any subsequent versions like:
19A3 – 2019-06-17 – S19A_19.20.4-363281
19A4 – 2019-07-11 – S19A_19.24.2-375121

Update - I went back out to the car and restarted so the update could complete. I got a message saying the software updated successfully and there's a new version number. Looks like I have 19A4 now. I had 19A2 installed at the dealer a couple of months ago when they were fixing the delivery issues with my RRS.

Are we sure this doesn't just apply to MY19? Did anyone who received the email have pre-MY19 model?
The pop up I posted was on my 2018

Right but you're still all the way back on 19A. And really I was talking more about the Pre-ICTPD systems. I'm running 19A2 OTA on my MY17, nothing offered past that. But I also haven't had the very latest N347 campaign done.

Are there any pre-MY19's running anything past 19A2?

Takes forever, I can tell you that. And when things are still glitchy, the dealership tells me they've done additional "other updates". So I am not sure what we are getting OTA is everything relative to infotainment.

Just got the software popup today for my early 2019 build. Everything seems quicker and so far the full-map view hasn't not turned on when I start the car as it used to do half of the time.

I successfully updated but it now seems like CarPlay is not available anymore, it’s on the menu, just when you tap on it it says "not available". Everything else seems good.

Upon closer look, it looks like it lost the smartphone connectivity pack since both android auto and CarPlay are missing (when I plug in an android it doesn’t provide the option). I have a link to CarPlay in one of the custom menus and that is what provides "unavailable".

Will have the dealer reenable and load up any updates -- scheduled Sept 11 to have it fixed and updated.

I did the OTA update too, 10 days ago. Now my mobile data connection doesn't work anymore. I doesn't connect to the cellular network.

Got word from my dealer that lost CarPlay/Android Auto is a known issue and they are working to fix -- not sure if that will be an OTA or require dealer. But, apparently LR working on it...

You already know this haha, but in case any other 2017 owners were wondering too, I just got my car back last week with 19A4 version updated by the local Land Rover service dept...

Pic attached below of how the "software update" page looks after the updated version was installed...

Still trying to figure out though if SOTA was turned ON for my car though cos there isn't a newer version yet for me to test

(when I click on "Check for update" it searches for a few seconds and then just pops up a message that tells me I already have the latest version)

Closing the loop... took to the dealer to fix the lost smart phone connectivity after OTA. They updated n347 which is odd since I still got the OTA without it perhaps that why I lost the smart phone connectivity? Anyways, they reenabled and everything is now sorted.

I have updated my MY2019 to 19A.24 and a few weeks later to 19B.

The dealer must activate every single SOTA update, at least here in Germany.
