Ok here goes... The ride quality on my '04 RR has become quite harsh over the last couple of days, to the degree that I feel like I'm in a SmartCar. No faults are coming from the air suspension & it raises and lowers just fine (...and yes the tire pressures have been checked).

Either my backside is getting a little too sensitive or there is an issue somewhere... any ideas?

You may have a shock that has gone bad... The shock could be hydraulic locking up causing a stiff to none compliant ride. On the other hand, and it's a very long shot: If the dryer on the air compressor has failed, and you live in a high humidity location, the air suspension could be filling with water, causing a very stiff ride. See I said it was a long shot.

Good Luck.

Mark.
