For the first time in three years I am without a Range Rover. My Rangy became a casulty of the on going crisis and was the only asset I had I could dispose of to get a little liquid and back on track. :( . It was the last thing I wanted to sell as I really loved the old beast and was a prime spotless low milage example. Had only 42k miles on it when I got it and clocked up just over 52k when I sold it. So by Rangy standards it was just out of the box. Everything worked perfectly no faults no nothing. Although recently had just started to get once in a blue moon checkbook symbol on the HVAC.

I miss it even more now since I now have to drive my wife to another city twice a day so I'm running around 250 miles a day and miss the comfortable highway crusing ablities of the 38.

Anywhoo. Hoping as soon as things get a little better I would like to get another a P38A. Although the prices of 1st gen MKIII's are hitting rock bottom day by day, so depending on my future budget I might go for one of those. Or maybe get a real cheap 02 or something, lets see. Until then I'm left rangyless but will be checking the boards every now and then and try to offer what little p38a knowlegde I have.

Adios Amigo, you will be missed :(

That's a shame mate. Apparently even the Arabs are putting some construction projects on hold, so things must be bad... Hurry back, you will be missed. Good luck :thumb:

Sorry to hear of your predicament - On the other hand at least you had something to sell to raise some funds.

Cars come and go and I am sure something much better will soon come along.

There's no need to stay away from the forum either IF you don't want to.

Good Luch Chap :thumb:

Well, thats a total shame. I would feel awful if I had to sell mine, so I can imagine how you would feel. Good luck finding one in the future though, cause I know you will  . You could get an old clunker like mine! :D It may be an old rickety thing, but I love it, and it makes me want to sing the chitty chitty bang bang song lol!

Oh man that sucks :crybaby2:

I have been in that situatiion before and with the same car. All I can say is see you back soon :thumb: . I went with a bottom dollar 02 in remarkable condition when I came back. MKIII while being a nice SUV is not the type of vehicle I want. Once this dies I will move on to the G Class

 sending one up for ya
