The quality is great. Definitely well made. Install took about 10mins, the fit is very snug even before its bolted. I just made sure the BS in Gibson was facing up. I've got one perfect and still need to play with the other one but thats only because im super picky about the way things fit and look. The guys at gibson are awesome, they took care of me right away when I called, ordering took no more than 5-7mins.

Anyone looking for for tips should definitely look into these first before going the custom route.

Yep! No cutting. They slip over the existing exhaust pipe. I installed a pair a couple weeks ago. Contacted Robert at Gibson per the earlier thread messages. Quick service, fast delivery, easy install.

Just thought I'd update this thread. Ordered the Gibson tips last week, they arrived today. Install took about 10 minutes. They are absolutely perfect, exactly what the RRS HSE was missing. Put a coat of Zaino on the truck today and polished up the tips too. Oh and the price is still the same!

Question for a 2008 HSE that has the end pipe turning down. Assuming I cut it off behind the muffler, how much do I need to leave for the tips to clamp to? 2" or what?

Don't do it. Instead get these fropm Auto Chrome UK (they also sell on eBay). I got them for my 2008 and IMO looked good!
They're oval shapped which I preferred, installed in seconds and no mods necessary to your vehicle. Below is a pic of them on my '08.

CA-Sport - I purchased the tips from AutoChrome, arrived this week, fitted them today. They both rub up against the anti vibration weights at the back of the car and now the tips buzz/rattle aginst the weights, any suggestions.
