Just wondering if the 06,07,08 gauge cluster can work in the 03,04,05 bmw model? They look pretty much the same but I know it talks with the ecu so that may be a problem or it can just be a universal odometer signal ect...

Any body know for sure?

Thanks

Re: GAUGE cluster. Do 06,07,08 clusters work in bmw 03,04 05 RR

No, they won't work, at all.

The early 02-05 ones are strait out of a BMW, the 06+ ones were re-designed and use completely different tech.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Dan,

thanks for the reply. I am slowly gathering spare parts for " just incase" and I saw a good deal on a 07 unit. Thanks for clearing that up.

Does anybody know if a ecu can be changed for a used unit without to much trouble?

Thanks again.
