I had a problem that my car dropped to the bump stops as soon as I switched the ignition off

I had rebuilt the valve block, but re-used the diaphragm as I could not find one in Cape Town

Received a new diaphragm from Scotty at http://www.becmdoctor.com/

ALL IS WELL AGAIN !!!!

Thanks to all who gave suggestions

Hi William,
Where in Cape Town are you?
I have a new to me P38 and a more knowledgeable person than me may be in order for some of the weird stuff that comes along form time to time.

OK, great. I am in Parklands, just down the drag from you.
Were/are you also on the 4X4 Community Forum? You sound familiar. Did you have a hybrid Rangie/Jeep a while back?

Yes, that's me.
Now I have a green, lifted, 1988 classic and a charcoal 1998 P38
I drive around daily, in the bush behind checkers, or at the eastern end of Berkshire Boulevard, or on weekends behind new Table Bay Mall
Plenty of sandy tracks, From R27 East to the railway, or North to the nature reserve
Lots of sand tracks where the P38 (pics 2 to 4) cannot get scratched, the Northern ones, (pic 5 nature reserve fence) I only use the classic

Mmmm, nice!
I am off to work for 9 weeks, but will drop you a line when I get back and have a spare moment.
Would like to see the trails, just need to get through roadworthy first.
