I have a 2017 RRS dynamic with 21" satin grey wheels, I have a front passenger wheel having some curbing marks, I opted for the full size spare when I specced it so thought I could swap it with the marked one until I get it repaired, but the manual mentions all 4 wheels are designed to be in their specific positions and the spare should only be used temporarily. I can't really see why as they are all the same as far as I can see and the spare has the same tyre as the 4 normal ones. Anyone know how it drives with the spare on and if it would be ok to have on for a long period of time? Thanks

Full size spare is identical to the other 4 tires. Think the only issue would be if there is a big difference in the wear between the other three tires and the unused full size spare tire.

Instead of repairing the front passenger rim, I'd put the new spare tire on the damaged rim and the used tire on the undamaged rim and you'd be set.
