Long story short, a few months ago, a new fuel pump was put in. Now, when I pump gas, I cant fill up at full speed of the pump, and if I do, it clicks on me and shoots gas out of the tank. So even when I pump with barely any pressure, it clicks after 10 bucks or so, then I have to wait, then do it again.

So, it takes me about 15-20 minutes to fill up - which I dont want to do in these winter months.

Is there some vent that needs to be opened when the mechanic dropped the tank? Anything that can get damaged?

Thanks

Mine doesn't like filling all that smoothly either. I find if I turn the filler nozzle 90 degrees anti clockwise and try that angle that it works much better. Weird I know, but it beats standing around for 30 minutes.
