Currently having my Range Rover Sport 2016 in for 30,000 mile service. Dealer recommends a 'fuel injection and throttle body service for $389.95". This service is not on the service schedule, do I need it? Any advice?
Nope. Unless you've running really poor fuel there would be reason for injectors to be dirty, carboned or clogged at only 30K miles. Throttle body shouldn't see any build up until at least 50K or 60k miles and are generally easy to clean in an afternoon at home. A couple of can of intake cleaner and a lint free rag will polish up a throttle body/intake.
