I have a new 2018 car
Is it possible via settings to permanently enable the front parking sensors rather than pushing the sensor location on the touchscreen
Thanks

sadly, I don't think so. It's annoying to have to push it when pulling in anywhere and not backing in. I have read through the manual and also looked in the menu settings and I just don't think it is possible which is a real shame. Seems something so obvious.

I find if I shift to neutral and coast into a parking space with a wall in front of me, the sensors will activate. I even noticed if I shift right back into drive, the are active until u go over 10 mph.

nevermind. I was wrong. I looked again at the manual and i found it!

The parking aid system can be set to activate automatically for when:

  1. The vehicle’s speed falls below 6 mph (10 km/h).
  2. Drive (D) is selected.
To enable the auto on feature, select the settings icon (1) to access the PARKING AID SETTINGS pop-up menu. Select Automatic Front Parking Aid ON.
