Ok,

Started my 09 RRS HSE up to leave work yesterday.....then....as I drove it started clicking and knocking like the drivers front wheel was locking up, trying to stop.

Gave up, drove another car home.

This morning I drop it at my local shop, on the way there it knocked, clicked and then it stopped doing that, to be replaced with a humming noise.....and an occasional click/knock.

clearly coming from the drivers side wheel area....

It is at the shop now, waiting for word from them....anyone else ever have this issue??

It has 122k on it BTW- 2nd owner.

Thanks

Chris

Well, just got a call from the mechanic- wheel bearings.....dang they have to be real bad to make that noise I guess. Anything they should look at while replacing those?

Replace both sides is the best recommendation. If there's nothing else worn out, no other items need to be replaced, but you can check your brake pads thickness too
