Guys, my 1999 4.6HSE RR is having issues with the front air springs. Take a few minutes for them to rise up. The rears go up pretty fast.

I had this same problem on my 1998 4.6HSE RR. Fronts slow to rise, rears went up quickly. I purchased Gen II Arnotts for the front and all was well for 1 week then my rears started to dip and slow to rise....got fed up and changed to coils.

Now my 1999 is acting up just like the 98. I am worried if I change out the front air springs like I should the perfectly good rears will fail again.

Is there something else that can be causing my fronts to rise up slowly? The front air springs actually LOOK newer then the rears.

The system raises the rear first, so if the rear goes up fine, and then the front comes up slow, I would imagine you don't have enough air in your tank to fill all 4, either because A) you are on the bumpstops when you start the truck or B) your compressor is not totally filling the tank. Got a pressure gauge attached to the system yet?
