I recently purchased a "mCar" unit, model number A2L.BTI ( you have to look it up by model number). This connects to the back of the system through the cd player connections. I am now able to make calls, stream music from my Samsung s9+. It does require you to put in a code of #281 every time you get in the car, through the cd player screen, but that's ok for me. This works for the low line 6 cd players that the Rovers came out with for that year. It comes with a microphone for hands-free talking and a USB port as well. There might be something cheaper out there, but I am just happy I can now use my phone and system, the way it is supposed to work. All instructions are on their site for hooking it up, and it was pretty straightforward to do.
