I picked up my 2018 L494 SC Dynamic a bit over a week ago, and am glad to be part of a new community, and begin exploring how to have more fun at slower speeds (i.e. playing in the dirt), especially after the Land Rover Driving Experience in Carmel Valley gave me a taste of what these things can handle.

The lack of Android Auto and Apple Carplay definitely let me down, and almost had me walking away from the dealership, but I'm sure I'll find a way to be happy for at least the next few years. Hopefully I'll get my hands on a DoIP unit before too long and see whether my hunch (that the software's already in there, and just disabled w/ removable vehicle order codes) is correct. I previously spent a lot of time fiddling w/ my last car's electronics (config coding, flashing updates, etc.), and hope that I can start to do the same w/ my Range Rover sometime soon. (I'm really glad the TOPIx system is available to 'independent operators'!)

Plans for the truck will unfold slowly, but I've got tint and exhaust sorted out for the time being.

Happy to be here, and excited to connect with other enthusiasts (especially those in the SF Bay Area).

Love the sound of your exhaust. When u say muffle delete, im assuming u removed the 2 boxes closest to the tailpipes at the end of the car ? number 8?

If you're planning on deleting anything, my guess would be #4 which is the resonator. You can replace that with an X-pipe or an H-Pipe. I don't know about removing the muffler entirely without replacing it with another muffler. That sounds bit hooligan. The resonator delete should give you plenty of extra sound if that's what you're after.
Welcome! I think you and I have twin vehicles.

This was after I had Ceramic Pro and the window pillars wrapped. If you haven't wrapped the high-gloss pillars yet, get that done ASAP. Well worth the money to keep them looking new. They scratch if you look at them wrong. :)

Interesting you mention carplay and android. I don't have these functions but in reality don't miss. I use Note 8 and feel I get all the assistance I want from running applications on the Phone. Of course I'd have if available but can't think what extra functionality I'd have ?

Correct; both number 8s, and the fabricator did a great job w/ hangers and making sure the tailpipes that reside within the finishing tips were oval.

I was going to also have #4 and "pre-4" removed and replaced with separate, modular sections (the H-pipe probably being pre-4) so I could play around w/ the permutations of pre-muffler/res/muffler deletes. I'm pretty happy though, and while there is some drone ~1750 RPM, I never spend much time at that RPM, so it doesn't bother me much (for now), and there's a chance I won't be doing anything further. But for a relatively 'low' cost (compared to aftermarket applications), the curiosity might lead me to having those two sections fab'd up and (like the tail sections) made easily-swappable.

Close! You've got the black package; I do not (although I'd have liked to!). Atlas Gray seems good enough for me, for now.

I already need to polish my narvik black pillars since I had a hoot of a time at Hollister Hills this past weekend, and did a hell of a job giving myself a bit of an off-road patina!
