Finalizing 15 Sport ATB order in the final hours, color decisions!

Well the last day to change my 15 RR Sport ATB is fast approaching, Nov 7th. However the dealer said I should have it finalized tomorrow just to be safe. What I'm stuck on is the exterior and interior choices. I'm coming from an Cadillac Escalade that has a total of three interior choices and maybe 4 exterior choices that people actually buy. With RR, almost all of these colors could be possibilities. Once you multiply the 16 exteriors x 4 roofs, x body colored or black moldings x 22 interior choices you have what, 2816 possible combinations, and that doesn't include the wheels!

Since there is only one 22" wheel option that makes the choice easy, but the rest is still up in the air. Let me give you some background. I'm 34, this will be a second "fun" vehicle, live in snow/salt country, just had a baby 2 months ago who will likely ride in it on rare occasions. I'm coming from a black/black vehicle not by choice, but because that's what was available and I'm an impatient man. Black of course looks sharp, but it's very hard to keep it clean. Plus the Orange peel effect tends to drive me crazy. If RR black has metallic in it, orange peel will be less noticeable. I'm not a neat freak either, and black interior needs cleaning from dust more often than light. Of course it does hide other things better..

So here are some possible combos I've been considering, what are your guys thoughts on them?

Corris gray w/ Black Roof, ebony/pimento interior with ebony/pimento seats and the gray oak veneer.

Fuji White with Corris Gray Roof or Black roof, ebony/pimento interior with ebony/pimento seats and the gray oak veneer.

Aruba with Corris gray roof, body colored moldings, ivory/espresso/tan interior with ivory/espresso/tan seats and Shadow zebrano veneer

Fuji white with Corris gray roof, body colored moldings, ivory/espresso/tan interior with ivory/espresso/tan interior and Shadow zebrano veneer

Mariana Black with Indus Silver or Corris Gray Roof, body colored side moldings, ivory/espresso/tan interior with ivory/espresso/tan seats and
Shadow zebrano veneer

Mariana Black with Indus Silver or Corris Gray Roof, body colored side moldings, ebony/lunar/cirrus with ebony/lunar/cirrus seats and the gray oak wood veneer

So basically exteriors I'm leaning towards Aruba, Fuji white, Mariana black, Corris gray, in no particular order.

Interiors ebony/pimento or the tri tone espresso ivory tan, maybe espresso ivory or ebony ivory or the tri tone ebony lunar cirrus but those are distant thirds right now. I haven't seen anything in person except black with ebony/lunar.

I had a friend send me his dream build today and he picked black with the tri tone ebony lunar cirus which looks **** good too. I'm just a bit sick of the whole black on black thing. Is the tri tone enough to break it up? And throw a contrast roof on it, maybe. I guess i have to decide if I want a sporty look or a classy look. It is the Sport after all so maybe a sporty theme is in order. What did you guys order? Keep in mind the darker colors will look very bad around here for 4-5 months of the year. You can't see salt on a white car very easily.

I know this is a personal preference thing, but not seeing any of these in person I'm reaching out to you guys.

Mariana Black with Corris Gray Roof and the Ebony/Lunar/Cirrus with Gray Oak Wood I'm strongly considering. It's surprising to me since up until today I hadn't even considered that interior. But after seeing pictures of it online, it looks really good. I like the Indus silver roof but its a very sharp contrast, the Corris gray would be much more subtle. Plus you would have tri tone outside and inside. Mariana Black, Black, Corris & Ebony/Lunar/Cirrus.

Tough choices. I can tell you that I recently saw the Black and Tan interior that is only available on the ATB. It was stunning.

That is my girlfriends pick as well, she loves the tan. What I have to keep telling myself is: likely I will be trading this in every year or two, so there is time to try many combinations!
Re: Finalizing 15 Sport ATB order in the final hours, color decisions!

Well we have decided fully on white with the black contrast roof. Now I just need to decide between these 2 interiors:

Ebony/Lunar/Cirrus
Ebony/Pimento with Ebony/Pimento Seats

The ATB has a red sport badge on the back, its practically calling out for a pimento interior. But the RR Color Matrix says the Ebony/Lunar/Cirrus is one of the "Designers Choices". I like the ebony/pimento, but its pretty crazy. I would be a bit worried about it hurting resale value. Or is that nothing to worry about? With either choice I'd go with the gray oak wood.

I have a 2915 ATB ordered with Corris grey/black roof. I ended up going with the ebony interior and headliner, but I really kicked around the ebony/pimento interior and know I'll regret not getting it when my car comes in. Just didn't have the guts to go for the red.

The white/black combination is awesome.

I know man I'm trying to work up the nerve for it, it's a tough decision without seeing it in person. I know I won't regret the ebony/lunar/cirrus but the ebony/pimento has definite regret possibilities.

So you got an ATB but went with just regular ebony/lunar? Wouldn't it of made more sense to get the SC Dynamic then? Quite a bit cheaper and ATB doesn't being much other then more interior choices. I feel like if I order ATB I should take advantage of the exclusive interiors.

This listing as some amazing amazing shots of white with black contrast roof and the ebony/pimento, but it's a FFRR LWB with all pimento seats. That's way too much red!

OneStepAhead, have you been in or driven a RR or RRS with the pimento interior? Female perspective here ... I test drove a RR with that interior and it was just too much. It didn't help that it was a 95F degree day here in CA and it made the car feel even hotter, the black roof probably didn't help either. You get this red glow inside the car and I found it very distracting. For reference, I am not color averse, I have a red sofa in one room, bright orange chairs in another and just bought very bright green sofa for the teen room. In previous houses I had red walls in an office and kitchen, but a red interior in car just felt really off.

My car is Fuji White with the Ebony/Pimento interior. Red isn't too over the top, but probably not a good choice if you are conservative with your colours (black on black lol). I'm still in my 20s so like sharp colours.

Black contrast roof looks best on the Fuji White too.

Get the tan with ebony headliner you won't regret it. Its awesome, and really sharp neither conservative not very edgy, just a happy medium if red scares you.
Re: Finalizing 15 Sport ATB order in the final hours, color decisions!

I was thinking about black/ pimento, but chickened out and went with black/ tan. Exterior is santorini black. I am coming from a black/ black ffrr.
Re: Finalizing 15 Sport ATB order in the final hours, color decisions!

You will be very happy. I also have same as you. Why did you change from FFRR to the Sport if you don't mind.

Because I already have the 15 Escalade and I have a very hard time buying lower trims, which means I'd have to get the FFRR ATB which is about 35k higher than Sport ATB once you add every option. So we have the caddy when we need size, the RR is just a third fun vehicle so it makes more sense.

Well I'm about 2.5 hours out from going to the dealer to finalize my order. Everything I thought i knew last night I'm now questioning haha. I've ruled out pimento, I did to have the cohones for it. Maybe if I was in my 20s but at 34 I'm growing more conservative each day.

I did get to see an ebony cirrus and an ebony lunar this morning coming off the truck, so I have a good idea what ebony lunar cirrus will look like. I also saw the gray oak wood which isn't as amazing as I'd hoped. RR needs some open pore woods, maybe next gen will have them.

Thoughts on white with Corris roof vs black roof? I bet the Corris roof would look great with the tri tone interior ebony lunar cirrus. Then you'd get the tri tone inside and out. What I'm thinking is

Cirrus is similar to white
Lunar is similar to Corris
Ebony is similar to the pillars which are black no matter what body or roof you pick.

Seems to be a perfect match, no?

It's actually my girlfriend and surprisingly my mother pressing me to pick the pimento! The poster in this thread who is showing his white with pimento ebony has solidified it for me. While it looks awesome no doubt, it's more fitting for a 20 something than a 34 year old who just had his first baby. Have to go another route. If I ever get the Mercedes s550'coupe though id get there design 1 red interior in a heartbeat!
Re: Finalizing 15 Sport ATB order in the final hours, color decisions!

I have Corris Grey on Pimento + ebony headliner and I have never been happier with a color combo on a car. Everyone who has seen it up close falls in love immediately. If I had to choose again I would not change a single thing. The ONLY other color I would even consider is the Tan interior.
Re: Finalizing 15 Sport ATB order in the final hours, color decisions!

Ok guys order is in the system and final!

Fuji White with Black Contrast roof, 22" wheels.

Interior is Ebony/tan with the Ebony/tan two tone ATB seat. Grand black lacquer finisher and Ebony headliner.

They had a 13 ATB with this exact interior and it's smoking hot. Looks luxury. They had a 14 Sport HSE with Ebony/lunar and a cirrus headliner. No offense to anyone that has it, but it's totally boring and depressing inside. The passenger is basically looking head on at a giant slab of cold gray leather. It's not for me, and the tri tone Ebony/lunar/cirrus would of been near identical except had cirrus accents on the door. In known the black wood has its problems, but I feel like it's a must if you go Ebony/Tan. As someone else pointed out, the gray oak wood looks a bit chintzy. Too bad, it could be amazing if done right.

I added every option except 5+2 and towing. Here is what's not included in the USA version that is included in Other markets apparently:

025QD - Less Telematics TCU module
025QE - Less breakdown/emergency call
025RA - Less WiFi
029FK - Less Instant Mobility System
065EB - Less Intelegant Emergency Braking
075EB - Less Wade Sensing
081BA - less Stolen Vehicle Tracking
095CA -'less All Terrain Progress Control
037BC - Less Active Loud Exhaust
039IA - Less Heads Up Display
056AA - Less First Aid Kit

Surround camera and CCVP is available if you order ATB. Non ATB has a constraint on both. You also don't get as many duo or tri tone interiors if you step down to the SC.

Build date is Nov 28th and delivery date is Jan 16th!!
