Finalizing 15 Sport ATB order in the final hours, color decisions!
Well the last day to change my 15 RR Sport ATB is fast approaching, Nov 7th. However the dealer said I should have it finalized tomorrow just to be safe. What I'm stuck on is the exterior and interior choices. I'm coming from an Cadillac Escalade that has a total of three interior choices and maybe 4 exterior choices that people actually buy. With RR, almost all of these colors could be possibilities. Once you multiply the 16 exteriors x 4 roofs, x body colored or black moldings x 22 interior choices you have what, 2816 possible combinations, and that doesn't include the wheels!
Since there is only one 22" wheel option that makes the choice easy, but the rest is still up in the air. Let me give you some background. I'm 34, this will be a second "fun" vehicle, live in snow/salt country, just had a baby 2 months ago who will likely ride in it on rare occasions. I'm coming from a black/black vehicle not by choice, but because that's what was available and I'm an impatient man. Black of course looks sharp, but it's very hard to keep it clean. Plus the Orange peel effect tends to drive me crazy. If RR black has metallic in it, orange peel will be less noticeable. I'm not a neat freak either, and black interior needs cleaning from dust more often than light. Of course it does hide other things better..
So here are some possible combos I've been considering, what are your guys thoughts on them?
Corris gray w/ Black Roof, ebony/pimento interior with ebony/pimento seats and the gray oak veneer.
Fuji White with Corris Gray Roof or Black roof, ebony/pimento interior with ebony/pimento seats and the gray oak veneer.
Aruba with Corris gray roof, body colored moldings, ivory/espresso/tan interior with ivory/espresso/tan seats and Shadow zebrano veneer
Fuji white with Corris gray roof, body colored moldings, ivory/espresso/tan interior with ivory/espresso/tan interior and Shadow zebrano veneer
Mariana Black with Indus Silver or Corris Gray Roof, body colored side moldings, ivory/espresso/tan interior with ivory/espresso/tan seats and
Shadow zebrano veneer
Mariana Black with Indus Silver or Corris Gray Roof, body colored side moldings, ebony/lunar/cirrus with ebony/lunar/cirrus seats and the gray oak wood veneer
So basically exteriors I'm leaning towards Aruba, Fuji white, Mariana black, Corris gray, in no particular order.
Interiors ebony/pimento or the tri tone espresso ivory tan, maybe espresso ivory or ebony ivory or the tri tone ebony lunar cirrus but those are distant thirds right now. I haven't seen anything in person except black with ebony/lunar.
I had a friend send me his dream build today and he picked black with the tri tone ebony lunar cirus which looks **** good too. I'm just a bit sick of the whole black on black thing. Is the tri tone enough to break it up? And throw a contrast roof on it, maybe. I guess i have to decide if I want a sporty look or a classy look. It is the Sport after all so maybe a sporty theme is in order. What did you guys order? Keep in mind the darker colors will look very bad around here for 4-5 months of the year. You can't see salt on a white car very easily.
I know this is a personal preference thing, but not seeing any of these in person I'm reaching out to you guys.
