I'm getting bored with this now. For the last few days I have driven the car
almost daily, which is very unusuall.
Maybe it doesn't like it, but whilst driving at what seems random intervals, I
get the dreaded 'BEEP BEEP BEEP'.
However no message in the message centre and no other warning lights, faults,
etc are immediately obvious. Any suggestions as to why?
In 3 weeks we're about to go on a 4000Km trip to the Pyrenees and back, so
not happy about the car sulking for no reason.

Check that all the doors/bonnet are shut. Usually it comes up with a message, but the tailgate not being shut properly is usually the cause of beeping in mine

A door hood or hatch should show a message if open. Maybe your seatbelt wiring connection is loose? I think there is a disable write up on home page just for this reason.

have you inadvertantly set the "max speed". If this is set then you will get a "beep beep beep" when that speed is exceded.

 **** I hate when I turn that dang thing on. I forget all about it and my guts drop, my heart jumps and I instantly think I have an EAS fault.

Yeah Carl, SWMBO called me one day saying it was beeping at her and flashing a speed warning. Boy was I happy to find she had unintentionaly set the "max speed". I, of course, feared it was the EAS.

All sound plausable causes, but I must admit that I am 99%
sure it is none of them. I get warnings when the doors/ boot
are left open. I also get the speed warning when I switch it on.

It's strange, I'll just get the Beep Beep Beep and nothing else.
There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it either. It can happen after
driving for 30seconds or 30 minutes, but not all the time.
