My 97 HSE has started throwing up a false FAILED LH FRONT INDICATOR BULB WARNING.
The blinker blinks normally for 6 blinks then shows the warning and the blinker doubles in rapidity.
The indicator is working.
thanks for the interest
it is standard filament. It started to give the warning out of the blue. I understand the reduced wattage of LED plays havoc with many systems designed for incandescent bulbs.
My first thought would be the problem is caused by a bad contact but the indicator appears quite bright.
Interestingly, also out of the blue when the indicator warning first appeared it just once brought up a GEARBOXES fault warning. All is operating normally.
