I changed the fuel pump on my '93 LWB, but the old pump had a ground lead from the vehicle harness that plugged in to the top, while my new pump has NO place for a ground lead. It came with a harness jumper from the vehicle plug to the pump, so this groundlead is just laying there with no place to go. Any ideas?

The fuel pump is meant to fit multiple vehicles. you dont have to hook that ground up at all. I know this because I asked the Rover mechanic at land rover dealer shop about it when they put in my brand new gas tank, which was covered under recall..94 LWB. yours may be too as mine had begun to leak..
